In April 2022, Park embezzled 184 million won of the jeonse rental deposit paid by LH by using Mr. A, a basic livelihood security recipient, as a tenant. Park fabricated a false lease contract stating that Mr. A paid 230 million won in jeonse and moved into his villa located in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, and received the deposit from LH. Mr. A said he no longer intended to move in, and Park notified LH that he had used all the deposit and could not return it.
