View original imageThe city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is conducting a special inspection of waste emitters until the 21st of this month.
On the 14th, Suwon City announced that this special inspection is being carried out to efficiently use resources and suppress waste generation in accordance with the 'Guidelines on Separate Collection of Recyclable Resources.'
According to the 'Resource Recycling Act,' waste emitters must recycle recyclable waste or separate and store it by type, nature, and condition to enable recycling.
The main inspection targets are a total of eight locations, including two large shopping centers, one terminal, and five stations.
The inspection items include ▲ whether places and containers for separate collection of recyclable resources are secured ▲ appropriateness of separate discharge, storage, and transportation of recyclable resources ▲ whether waste is mixed with recyclable resources ▲ and proper processing of recyclable resources.

A Suwon City official stated, "This inspection will serve as an opportunity to inform waste emitters of the importance of separate discharge," adding, "We will continuously promote separate discharge and conduct inspections to spread a carbon-neutral culture."
