Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) announced on the 13th that it will conduct safety inspections to prevent safety accidents such as fires and floods targeting clothing manufacturing companies in the district.
There are about 1,600 clothing manufacturing companies in Dongdaemun-gu, and most of the small-scale companies operate in environments vulnerable to safety issues such as semi-basements and fire hazards.
