On the 13th, Gyeonggi Province announced that from the 17th to the 28th, it will carry out inspections of 17 medium-sized mountain solar power plants exceeding 1000kW in capacity, in cooperation with the provincial and city/county governments and the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation. The 194 small-scale mountain solar power plants within the province will be inspected independently by the city/county governments.
The main inspection items include ▲module damage and the fastening condition between supports and modules ▲normal operation of inverters and insulation status of distribution panels ▲installation of high-voltage safety signs ▲maintenance status of drainage facility manholes and drainage channels ▲ground subsidence and soil erosion within the site.
Minor issues such as cleaning drainage channels and installing safety signs will be addressed immediately on-site. For safety concerns such as soil erosion and ground subsidence, the city/county governments will issue disaster prevention and defect repair orders to ensure prompt response.
