Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 12th that Sacheon Livestock Cooperative and Geoje Livestock Cooperative have participated in mutual donations to support the activation of the Hometown Love Donation Program and the co-prosperity of the regions.

View original imageOn this day, Ok Bangho, head of Geoje Livestock Cooperative, Shin Wookyung, head of Geoje City branch of Nonghyup, Lee Hyungju, head of Sacheon Livestock Cooperative, and Cho Yunhwan, head of Sacheon City branch of Nonghyup, along with six other officials, visited Sacheon City Hall and delivered the hometown love donation.
This donation was made through the voluntary participation of executives and employees of the two regional livestock cooperatives, with each donating 5.7 million won to their respective local governments. They agreed to continue joining forces for the development of both regions in the future.
Ok Bangho stated, "The Hometown Love Donation Program helps increase farm income by selling agricultural and livestock products as return gifts. I will continue to support the program so that it can further revitalize the agricultural and livestock industry and contribute to the development of the local economy."
Mayor Park Dongsik said, "I sincerely thank the two cooperative heads and all executives and employees who are taking the lead in the development of the livestock industry and actively participating in mutual donations. I hope this donation serves as an opportunity to continue cooperation for the co-prosperity of the two regions and the activation of the Hometown Love Donation Program."
