Lotte Duty Free Launches Celeb Shop... Connecting with Influencer Brands
This Year's Online Sales Increase by 80% Compared to Last Year
Lotte Duty Free announced on the 12th that it will introduce the 'Celeb Shop' on its online duty-free store, the first of its kind in the domestic duty-free industry.
The Celeb Shop, which opened on the 11th, sells products from brands directly operated by social media (SNS) influencers as well as items from group purchases conducted with them.

At the Celeb Shop, customers can find over 160 products from 17 brands, including the cosmetics brand 'Liternity' and the health supplement brand 'Paperback', covering categories such as fashion and jewelry.
Initially, brands from eight macro influencers (influencers with 100,000 to 1 million followers) have joined Lotte Internet Duty Free. Influencer 'Park Sunwoo', who has 480,000 Instagram followers, presents the shapewear brand 'Bodyco', while 'Choi Seonjeong', with 200,000 Instagram followers, introduces the food brand 'Paperback', famous for its Minus Shake.
Lotte Duty Free plans to continuously expand the Celeb Shop brand lineup. Since influencers directly promote their brand entries, it enhances marketing effectiveness. To commemorate the opening of the Celeb Shop, a gift-with-purchase event will also be held, offering gifts based on purchase amounts for each brand.
Kim Wonsik, Head of EC Innovation Division at Lotte Duty Free, said, "We expect high customer satisfaction by showcasing famous influencers' brands on Lotte Internet Duty Free," adding, "Lotte Duty Free will continue to do its best to provide customers with a diverse duty-free shopping experience."
Meanwhile, Lotte Duty Free's cumulative online sales from January to May this year increased by about 80% compared to the same period last year. In anticipation of increased overseas travel demand this summer, Lotte Duty Free is strengthening its popular brand lineup on the online duty-free store. In April, the popular French fashion brands 'Ami' and 'Maison Kitsun?' were added to Lotte Internet Duty Free, and the online liquor specialty store exclusively sells the Japanese sake 'Dassai'.
