Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends 'Nowon District Women's Choir Lobby Performance' at District Office
On the 11th at 12:20 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the 'Nowon-gu Women's Choir Performance' held in the lobby on the first floor of Nowon-gu Office in Seoul.
Since its founding in 1989, the Nowon-gu Women's Choir has served as Nowon-gu's representative cultural ambassador for over 30 years, providing opportunities for communication through music to marginalized neighbors and playing the role of a music volunteer group that inspires hope and courage among residents.
On this day, the district arranged a choir performance in the lobby on the first floor of the district office during lunchtime so that employees and residents could have a moment of healing amid their busy daily lives.
The performance prepared by Jin Ye-gwan, president of the Nowon-gu Women's Choir, conductor Seo Hyo-jung, and 36 members featured popular choral pieces that anyone could enjoy, including "Na Hana Kkotpieo," "Ah, I Want to Live in a Dream" from the opera Romeo and Juliet, and "Butterfly," the OST from the movie National Team.
