Chungnam Province announced on the 10th that it will support lifelong education vouchers for marginalized groups.
The province was selected in the Ministry of Education-led 'National-Local Government Lifelong Education Voucher Support Project' and secured 980 million KRW in national funding.
Previously, the province supported 2,000 people through the Chungnam Lifelong Education Voucher Support Project, but with the newly secured national funds, the number of beneficiaries can be increased to 4,000.
The support targets are basic livelihood security recipients and near-poverty groups aged 19 or older residing in the province.
Applications will be accepted from the 17th to the 30th, and if the recruitment of 4,000 people is not met, additional applications will be accepted from young people aged 19 to 39.
