View original imageThe city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will operate the 'Policy Delivery Bicycle,' which uses public bicycles to promote key policies, until November.
The Policy Delivery Bicycle involves installing policy promotion boards on the baskets of about 170 public bicycles operated around Haenggung Square and Gwanggyosan to inform the public about Suwon's policies.
This year, Suwon will promote ▲ Recruitment for Single-Person Household Family Program (June) ▲ Chat with Friends, Suwon Love Saebit Talk Talk (July) ▲ Suwon Saebit Care that Comes Upon Order (August) ▲ Implementation of PM (Personal Mobility) Towing in 2025 (September to November), among others.
Suwon plans to pilot the installation of policy promotion boards on public bicycles and consider expanding the operation based on the results.

A Suwon city official stated, "With the revision of the 'Outdoor Advertising Act Enforcement Decree,' rental bicycles have been added to the list of transportation advertising media, and Suwon decided to operate the Policy Delivery Bicycle to expand the function of bicycles." He added, "We hope bicycles will establish themselves as a useful platform that promotes city policies beyond just being a means of transportation."
