Seonghwa Lim, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Receives 'Legislative Service Award' from Association of Autonomous District Council Chairs
Im Seong-hwa, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, received the 'Local Legislative Service Award' on the 7th from the Gwangju Metropolitan City Autonomous District Council Chairpersons Association (Chairman Kim Hyung-su).
The Legislative Service Award is given to local council members who have made significant contributions to the development of local legislation and community harmony through dedicated service in their legislative activities.
Councilor Im was recognized for his efforts to protect and promote the rights and welfare of children and youth, including enacting ordinances on the protection and promotion of youth labor rights and Youth Day.
In response, Councilor Im said, "I am delighted to receive such a prestigious award unexpectedly," and added, "I will continue to develop various policies to protect the rights and welfare of children and carry out more active legislative activities until the day when all children in Seo-gu live happily."
