He offered flowers and a moment of silence to honor 304 prosecutors who dedicated themselves to protecting the fundamental rights of the people as prosecutorial officers.
Attending the event were Deputy Prosecutor General Shin Ja-yong, Director Jeon Mu-gon of the Planning and Coordination Department, Anti-Corruption Department Head Yang Seok-jo, Criminal Department Head Lee Jin-su, Narcotics and Organized Crime Department Head No Man-seok, Public Investigation Department Head Kim Tae-eun, Trial and Litigation Department Head Jeong Hee-do, Scientific Investigation Department Head Heo Jeong, Inspection Department Head Lee Seong-hee, Secretary-General Yoon Deuk-young, and Spokesperson Lee Eung-cheol.

View original imageThe 'Wall of Remembrance' is a monument installed in September 2021 to commemorate prosecutorial officers who died in the line of duty, with the names of 304 officers engraved to date.
Last year and this year, the prosecution added five new names to the Wall of Remembrance: the late Cho Dong-yeop, administrative officer at Cheongju District Prosecutors' Office; the late Jeon Soon-ja, staff member at Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office; the late Jeong Jun-ho, investigator at Uijeongbu District Prosecutors' Office; the late Jang Myung-hee, staff member at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office; and the late Cha Jong-gyun, investigator at Changwon District Prosecutors' Office.
