Gwangjin-gu Provides Free Water Park Passes at Children's Hall for Vulnerable Children
For Vulnerable Children Including Basic Livelihood Security Recipients... Providing Opportunities for Leisure and Cultural Activities
Water Park Tickets at Children's Hall Provided Upon Application, Adult Guardians Also Supported
Online Registration via QR Code... Additional Applications Accepted Until Budget Is Exhausted
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is providing free water park admission tickets to support summer leisure activities for children from vulnerable groups.
Households in vulnerable groups have relatively fewer opportunities for leisure and cultural activities due to economic difficulties.
Accordingly, the district signed an agreement with the Gwangjin-gu Children's Center (441 Gwangnaru-ro, Gwangjin-gu) and is providing water park admission tickets for the first time this year.
The support targets children under 13 years old (born after July 1, 2011) residing in Gwangjin-gu who are recipients of basic living benefits, belong to the near-poverty class, or come from single-parent families. When applying for the admission ticket, an adult guardian registered at the same address can also receive support.
Residents wishing to apply can do so online via the QR code. Upon application, a one-day admission ticket will be sent via text message, and additional applications are possible if reuse is desired. However, the program may end early if the budget is exhausted.
The admission tickets can be used from the 22nd of this month until August 24th. Applicant households should visit the Children's Center swimming pool during this period and present the admission ticket text message received in advance.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We have prepared this water park admission ticket support project to provide children with opportunities for leisure activities with their families,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to create a happy and healthy Gwangjin-gu where no one is left out.”
