Meeting Held with Young Entrepreneurs
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization held a meeting with young entrepreneurs on the 4th at the Gyeongbuk Tourism Business Support Center, which serves as the cradle and platform for youth tourism startups in Gyeongbuk.
Gyeongbuk Province is an important tourism region, home to the Bomun Tourist Complex in Gyeongju, Korea's first-ever tourism complex and a symbol of Korean tourism history. Now is the time for the 'Gyeongbuk Tourism Youth Ten-Thousand-Troop Theory,' a movement to prepare for a new era based on Gyeongbuk's K-power.

View original imageThis event was organized to explore ways to cooperate in discovering and supporting innovative ideas from young entrepreneurs who will play a pivotal role in creating new opportunities and revitalizing Gyeongbuk tourism.
Many young entrepreneurs attended the meeting, including Dosieseo On Chonggak, Oneureun Gyeongju, Nanarism, Saesihot, Byeolheneun, Sangsaeng, Soovenirfilm, Blanc, Seuchyeogan Dongmul, Binest, Rehigh, Hwayangshilla, and Buchibuchi.
The meeting included a presentation by the representative of 'Sangsaeng,' a resident company at the Gyeongbuk Tourism Business Support Center, sharing their success story of opening a business on Hwangridan-gil, as well as strategies for sustainable future collaboration. Other companies also shared their achievements, discussed challenges, and explored ways to cooperate with one another.
Kim Namil, President of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Organization, said, "We will support the development of projects that connect Gyeongbuk's natural tourism resources such as the Baekdudaegan mountain villages, Nakdong River riverside towns, and East Coast marine cities, with the three major cultural zones centered on Andong, Goryeong, and Gyeongju, as well as the East Coast marine territory linked to UNESCO World Heritage sites." He added, "The case of Hwangridan-gil, the youngest street in Gyeongju, is a model example created by the unique and passionate startup ideas of young people. We will focus on fostering youth tourism entrepreneurs in Gyeongbuk so that more attractions, shopping, food, and experiences can be discovered."
