Audi Large Electric SUV Q8 e-tron New Model Launched in Korea
Audi Korea announced on the 5th that it has launched the large electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) Q8 e-tron. As a facelift of the brand's first electric vehicle, the Audi e-tron, the design has been updated while increasing battery capacity and charging power. The sleek coupe-style Q8 Sportback e-tron and the high-performance model SQ8 Sportback e-tron were also introduced. They will be available for purchase starting from the 10th.
The new Q8 e-tron is available in basic and high-end trims for the 50 e-tron quattro and 55 e-tron quattro models, while the Sportback model is available in basic and high-end trims of the 55 e-tron quattro. The SQ8 e-tron comes in a single trim. On a single charge, the new Q8 e-tron can travel 298 to 368 km (combined standard), the Sportback can travel 351 km, and the high-performance model can travel 303 km.
The lithium-ion battery capacity is 114 kWh, made up of 36 modules each containing 12 battery cells. Both slow and fast charging are possible, with a maximum output of 170 kW during fast charging. There is an additional slow charging port on the passenger side. The price of the new Q8 e-tron ranges from 108.6 million to 131.6 million KRW (including VAT, same below), the Sportback ranges from 124.6 million to 135.6 million KRW, and the high-performance model is priced at 154.6 million KRW.
To commemorate the Audi Summer Tour event with this new car launch, customers who take delivery will receive door entry LED lights featuring the Audi logo and the logo of the sponsored football club FC Bayern.
