Yeongsangang Regional Environmental Office Publishes Monthly Newsletter 'Sseudam Sseudam'
The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office announced on the 4th that it has published the monthly newsletter "Sseudam Sseudam," which contains news about protected areas in the southern region, to promote and raise awareness of protected areas within its jurisdiction.
"Sseudam Sseudam" is composed of photos and videos directly taken by public officials and nature interpreters affiliated with the Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office. It mainly focuses on videos detailing ecological changes in protected areas according to seasonal changes, major events, and on-site coverage results.
Additionally, it provides scientific information about the plants, animals, and ecosystems inhabiting the protected areas to help readers understand the importance of these protected regions.
"Sseudam Sseudam" will be distributed through the Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office’s website, social media (blogs, Facebook, etc.), as well as public institutions and related organizations. The inaugural May issue features Jeju Dongbaekdongsan Wetland Protected Area as the protected area of the month, offering detailed explanations of the ecological landscape along with commentary from a nature interpreter.
