Dong-A University Holds 'Dong-A Job Club Employment Camp'
Over 130 Participants Including Club 'Donga Leaders Club'
Job Strategy Lectures, Mock Interviews, and Alumni Mentoring
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) recently held the '2024 Dong-A Employment Club Employment Camp' with great success.
The employment camp, which took place over two separate 3-day sessions last month at Eden Valley Resort in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, was attended by over 130 participants, including members of Dong-A University's leading employment clubs, 'Dong-A Leaders Club' and 'Dong-A Frontiers.'
The Dong-A University Career Plus Center, which organized the event, operated the employment clubs by dividing them into science and engineering fields and humanities and business fields (including business support, finance, sales/marketing, trade logistics, MICE, etc.) to provide tailored employment support by sector.
This event offered a variety of programs for job seekers, such as employment strategy lectures, practical mock interviews, mentoring by alumni currently working at companies (Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, BGF Retail, Air Busan, etc.), and additional employment-related activities (employment ID photo shoot, personal color diagnosis).
On-site employment consulting with professional consultants from the Career Plus Center was also provided.
Oh Eungsu, head of the Dong-A University Career Plus Center, said, "To ensure the successful employment of our students, the university will continue to actively operate tailored employment clubs for each field and regularly hold employment camps."
Kang Suseok, a senior in the Department of Mechanical Engineering who participated in the camp, shared, "Through the customized employment camp by field, I was able to resolve my employment concerns and felt reassured to meet friends who will prepare for employment together."
For the past 21 years, Dong-A University has maintained a high employment rate by operating employment clubs such as the 'Dong-A Leaders Club,' with members finding jobs at globally preferred companies (Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, etc.), major domestic conglomerates (GS Group, Hyundai Department Store, etc.), financial public institutions (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Korea Exchange, etc.), and financial institutions (IBK Industrial Bank, Hana Bank, etc.).
