Boryeong City Selected for Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Facility Improvement and Standard Model Development Project'
Expecting Improved Safety Index through Traffic Accident and Crime Safety Improvement Projects
Boryeong City in Chungnam announced on the 3rd that it has secured 500 million won in national funds by being selected for the 'Facility Improvement and Standard Model Development Project' led by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The city plans to improve crime prevention smart poles and security CCTV facilities to create safe routes home, and install new traffic enforcement CCTV in areas with frequent traffic accidents.
Last month, the city was also selected in the 'Regional Safety Level Improvement Consulting' contest hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and plans to request customized consulting for safety capacity diagnosis and vulnerable area analysis from the National Disaster Safety Research Institute.
