Incheon City Hosts 'Youth Policy Contest' for Nationwide Youth... Outstanding Ideas to Be Implemented
Incheon City is gathering opinions from young people nationwide to develop youth policies.
The city announced on the 3rd that it will hold the 2024 Youth Policy Contest "Incheon Youth Renaissance" until the 28th.
The contest categories include four areas: housing, jobs, education, and finance·welfare·culture. Any young person aged 18 to 39 nationwide can choose one topic and apply through the Incheon Youth Portal.
The city will select 20 teams through the first round of screening, then choose the final 8 teams through a presentation (PT) evaluation by a panel of public and private experts. The 8 final selected teams will receive a total prize of 20 million KRW, including 7 million KRW for the grand prize, along with certificates. The 20 teams that pass the first screening will also receive 500,000 KRW each as research project funds.
The city plans to incorporate the selected outstanding ideas into Incheon’s youth policies.
