LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam Signs MOU with Gimhae Women's Resources Development Center
Operation of Psychological and Emotional Support Program for Career-Interrupted Women
Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam (Director Um Youngseok) announced on the 2nd that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Gimhae Women's Resources Development Center on the 30th of last month to support confidence recovery for women with career interruptions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Um Youngseok, Director of Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam, Lee Eunju, Director of the Gimhae Women's Resources Development Center, and many other officials. They pledged mutual cooperation with the goal of supporting the development of female workers and creating jobs in the local community.
This agreement is part of Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam's business-linked local social contribution activities, and was promoted to help women who have been unable to participate in economic activities for long periods due to pregnancy, childbirth, or childcare regain their confidence and support their emotional well-being as they return to society.
According to the terms of the MOU, women will participate in a total of eight introductory horseback riding classes, including horse grooming and basic riding skills.
Let's Run Park Busan Gyeongnam expects that spending time with horses will help women regain their confidence and provide an opportunity to overcome the challenges of re-employment.

Um Youngseok, Director of the Busan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Racing Authority, said, "I hope that the horseback riding program implemented through this agreement will serve as a stepping stone for women with career interruptions to make a fresh start," and added, "We will continue to develop various programs that use horses as a medium to alleviate the difficulties of local residents and support vulnerable groups."
