Possible to Obtain Australian Physiotherapist License After Completing Canberra University
Namseoul University announced on the 31st that it has signed a dual degree agreement with the University of Canberra in Australia for the Department of Physical Therapy.
With this agreement, students in the Department of Physical Therapy at Namseoul University can study for 2 years at Namseoul and then complete 3 years at the University of Canberra's Department of Physical Therapy to obtain an Australian physical therapist license. After obtaining the license, they can work as physical therapists and open clinics in 54 Commonwealth countries including the UK, Canada, Australia, and Singapore.
A representative from Namseoul University stated, "This agreement provides a turning point to further globalize physical therapy in Korea and nurture global talent in physical therapy," adding, "It is especially expected to raise the level of domestic physical therapists through curriculum accreditation."

Meanwhile, the Department of Physical Therapy at Namseoul University previously signed Korea's first dual degree agreement in 2015 with the Department of Physical Therapy at AUT University in New Zealand, and in 2020, an admission agreement for the DPT program (master's and doctoral) at UTMB University in Texas, USA.
