Park Chansu, Head of Exchange Clearing Economic Headquarters, Elected as CCP Global Executive Committee Member
Park Chan-su, Head of the Clearing and Settlement Division at Korea Exchange, has been elected as an Executive Committee member of the CCP Global (Global Association of Central Counterparties).
Korea Exchange announced that Park Chan-su was elected as an Executive Committee member by member votes at the CCP Global General Assembly held on the 30th (local time) in Athens, Greece.
CCP Global members highly appreciated Korea Exchange's contributions to the stable execution of clearing and settlement as well as the strengthening of the global CCP cooperation system.
CCP Global is a global association of clearing institutions composed of 42 CCPs (Central Counterparties) from 31 countries that perform clearing and settlement operations in capital markets.
It actively works to enhance expertise in clearing and risk management to improve the stability and efficiency of global financial markets and to establish an efficient global CCP regulatory framework.
Korea Exchange has been participating as an Executive Committee member since 2022. The Executive Committee is the highest decision-making body responsible for major decisions, with executives from key CCPs in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and other major countries serving as members.

Korea Exchange stated that it plans to proactively participate in discussions on global CCP agendas through the CCP Global Executive Committee and strengthen its network to swiftly respond to changes in the CCP regulatory environment.
