GS25 Launches Child Disappearance Prevention Campaign with PB Milk...Promotes Fingerprint Pre-Registration
'Youseu Chunsik I Uyu' Includes System Guide Text and QR Code
GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 31st that it will collaborate with the Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency to promote and encourage the 'Pre-registration of Fingerprints and Other Information' system to prevent child disappearances.
The pre-registration of fingerprints and other information is a system that registers the fingerprints, photos, and guardian details of individuals requiring protection, such as children under 18 and dementia patients, in the police system in advance. Introduced in 2012, it has been effective in quickly handing over lost children and others to their guardians.

GS25 decided to actively promote the system through its private brand (PB) product line, 'Yours Chunsiki Milk' in four varieties, as part of its commitment to creating a safe environment for children and other vulnerable citizens. The campaign considered the promotional impact of this product, which sells over 10 million units annually.
This campaign will be conducted by inserting informational notices about the pre-registration system and QR codes for easy registration on the Yours Chunsiki Milk packaging. GS25 has pre-produced 1 million units of this packaging and plans to roll it out sequentially through GS25 stores nationwide starting from the 1st of next month. Customers can download the police agency’s 'Safe Dream' app via the QR code on the product packaging and use the pre-registration system.
In addition to the PB milk, GS25 plans to focus on campaigns utilizing both online and offline channels, including displaying informational notices about the system on customer screens of cash registers (POS) installed in over 17,500 offline stores nationwide.
