On the 30th, citizens held a picket protest condemning the comprehensive real estate tax in front of the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, Seoul. On this day, the Constitutional Court will deliver rulings on cases including the Comprehensive Real Estate Tax Act, which sets the tax payment obligations and criteria for the comprehensive real estate tax; the Enforcement Decree of the Broadcasting Act, which provides the basis for separate collection of KBS license fees; and constitutional complaints regarding the Military Service Act and the Alternative Service Act, which impose alternative service obligations on conscientious objectors. Additionally, the court will deliver a verdict on the first-ever impeachment case of a prosecutor in constitutional history.
