Biometric스, Generative AI Data Analysis SW Development Selected for National Project
BI Matrix announced on the 30th that it has been selected as the lead organization for the national project titled ‘Development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based No Code Environment Frontend Tool Technology for Global Market Expansion.’ Through this national project, BI Matrix will carry out the ‘Development of Cloud-Based No Code Environment Frontend Tool Technology for Global Market Expansion of Software in the Manufacturing, Finance, and Service Sectors.’
This project is part of the ‘2024 Software Computing Industry Core Technology Development’ program, specifically under the ‘Global Market Pioneering Software (SW) Frontier Technology Development’ initiative, planned and managed by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), a specialized agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT. The project aims to reduce the domestic software industry's dependence on overseas technologies by strengthening technological capabilities in the software sector. To this end, the government supports the discovery of companies pioneering the global market and the advancement of technologies to expand global market entry.
BI Matrix will receive approximately 2.1 billion KRW in government funding over about 1 year and 9 months to develop the following for the global market: △ LLM (Large Language Model) engine optimized for no code environments △ natural language-based no code frontend development tool software △ natural language-based data analysis result generation model △ component combination and management software.
Sunmin Hwang, Executive Director of BI Matrix, is in charge of overseeing this project. The Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) and Hanyang University’s Data Science Laboratory are participating. KETI is a specialized production research institute in the electronics and IT fields under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Hanyang University’s Data Science Laboratory specializes in industrial data natural language processing research.
The company expects that the technologies developed through this project will be applied across various fields such as manufacturing, finance, and logistics services, based on high accuracy and user convenience. BI Matrix plans to actively utilize the core solutions ‘G-MATRIX’ and ‘AUD Platform’ during the project execution.
The generative AI-based G-MATRIX is a solution specialized in database (DB) data querying and analysis. It incorporates natural language processing technology, enabling non-experts to easily and quickly derive analysis results. The AUD Platform is an AI-based business system construction solution that automates coding based on software robot technology.
Executive Director Hwang stated, “This project will apply all of BI Matrix’s technological capabilities, including AI and no code-based BI (Business Intelligence), OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), visualization, reporting, UI (User Interface), and UX (User Experience). The developed solution will provide integrated functions, which will solve the problem of high-cost system construction based on experts.”
