On the 30th, Ulsan City announced that the Ulsan Traffic Management Center, which plays a pivotal role in traffic management, is gaining attention as a site for domestic and international visits and as a benchmarking location for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) technology.
According to Ulsan City, since the center opened in 2005, more than 23,000 people from over 660 organizations and local governments, both domestic and international, have visited the Ulsan Traffic Management Center as of the end of May.
On the 30th, six officials from the Tianjin Public Security Bureau in China will visit the Ulsan Traffic Management Center to observe its advanced traffic system.
They plan to directly see and experience Ulsan's advanced ITS application technologies and learn about its cutting-edge traffic management system and operational methods.
