According to this agreement, the city and the seven construction companies will cooperate to promote the local construction industry by expanding opportunities for local companies to participate in major projects in the Pyeongtaek area, using locally produced materials and equipment, employing local labor, and providing administrative cooperation and support during project implementation. Previously, in December of last year, Pyeongtaek City signed a similar agreement with eight major construction companies.
Meanwhile, Pyeongtaek City has enacted the 'Pyeongtaek City Local Construction Industry Revitalization Support Ordinance' to actively encourage the participation of local construction companies in all areas including specialized construction, materials, labor, and equipment.
