A male passenger caused a naked disturbance on a flight departing from Australia, ultimately forcing the plane to return to its origin.
According to Australia's ABC News on the 28th (local time), a Virgin Australia flight that took off from Perth Airport at around 7:20 PM the previous day, heading to Melbourne, returned to Perth Airport in less than an hour.

The broadcast reported the incident through an interview with a passenger who was on the flight at the time. Shortly after takeoff, a male passenger began shouting and ran around the cabin naked.
The passenger reportedly knocked down a flight attendant who tried to restrain him, knocked on the cockpit door, and attempted to enter the cockpit.
Eventually, two air security officers on board succeeded in subduing the man and handcuffed him. When the plane landed at Perth Airport, Australian police waiting on the ground arrested the man.

After the arrest, the man was transported to a hospital and is scheduled to appear in a local court on the 14th of next month. ABC News added that no one was injured in the incident.
