View original imageOn the 28th, the Women and Children Investigation Division of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Im Yu-gyeong) announced that Jeon was indicted on charges of violating the Child Welfare Act (child abuse), special assault, threats, and trespassing.
According to the prosecution, Jeon is accused of assaulting and threatening Nam's nephew, A, with a golf club and trespassing into an apartment in Seongnam where Nam's family resides. The prosecution confirmed the danger posed by the golf club used in the abuse and added the special assault charge, and they requested psychological counseling for the child victim from the victim support center.

Previously, Jeon was arrested and indicted on charges of embezzling approximately 3 billion won from 27 people he met through lectures and other events from April 2022 to October last year under the pretense of investment funds, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison in the first trial. The prosecution appealed the first trial verdict, and the second trial is currently underway.
