Padu, 19.2 Billion KRW Corporate SSD Supply Contract
Delivery to Overseas SSD Specialized Companies
Fabless semiconductor design company Pado announced on the 27th that it has signed a 19.2 billion KRW supply contract for enterprise SSDs with an overseas solid-state drive (SSD) specialist company. Deliveries will be carried out sequentially from the second quarter and are expected to be completed within the year.
Pado explained, "As the global enterprise SSD market began to recover gradually after hitting a historic low last year, the demand for Pado's SSD controller semiconductors and SSDs is also gradually resuming." They added, "We expect a full-scale performance recovery in the second half of the year."
On the same day, Pado disclosed that it recorded sales of 2.332 billion KRW in the first quarter based on Korea International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) consolidated financial statements. The operating loss for the first quarter was 16.229 billion KRW.
