Opening Ceremony of Eunpyeong-gu Bulgwangje 2-dong Complex Building Held
Unveiling and Tape Cutting Ceremony Using Eco-Friendly Hanji Paper
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced on the 24th that it held the 'Bulgwang 2-dong Complex Building Opening Ceremony' as an eco-friendly event.
At this opening ceremony, the unveiling was conducted using a banner made of hanji (traditional Korean paper), and the tape-cutting ceremony also utilized hanji.
The 'Bulgwang 2-dong Complex Building' was constructed on a site area of 1,772㎡, with a total floor area of 3,546㎡ spanning from one basement floor to four above-ground floors.
In particular, reflecting the opinions of local residents who had long suffered from a lack of parking spaces, 33 public parking spots and 13 attached parking spots were created. In addition to the community center facilities, the building includes a cultural complex space for improving resident convenience, such as a screen park golf, a resident rest cafe, and a G·X room, which is expected to contribute to the development of the local community.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "Bulgwang 2-dong was an area with significant resident inconvenience due to a lack of public convenience facilities," and added, "As the largest building in Eunpyeong-gu filled with resident convenience facilities, we hope the Bulgwang 2-dong Complex Building becomes a landmark that anyone can comfortably visit and enjoy."
