Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it is recruiting the "4th Eunpyeong-gu Child Rights Monitoring Group for 2024" until June 28.
The "Child Rights Monitoring Group" is a public-private partnership project jointly promoted with Good Neighbors Seoul Jungbu Branch since 2021 as part of the child-friendly city creation project to reflect children's opinions in district administration.
The recruitment target is children aged 6 to 12 who reside in the district or attend elementary schools in the area, with a total of 25 members to be recruited. Children who wish to participate can refer to the notice on the website, fill out the application form, and submit it via email or visit in person.
The Child Rights Monitoring Group will begin activities with an inauguration ceremony in August and continue for one year. The appointed members will monitor cases of child rights violations in the five major areas of child policy: ▲ Play and Culture ▲ Participation and Respect ▲ Safety and Protection ▲ Health and Welfare ▲ Educational Environment, and provide opinions on child policies.
The results, compiled from the valuable opinions of the children, will be announced at the activity report meeting in November, and outstanding members will be awarded commendations.
