Hampyeong-gun Visits Local Daycare Centers for 'Infectious Disease Prevention' Education
Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, will carry out 'Visiting Infectious Disease Prevention Education' for children and teachers at local daycare centers until November this year.
On the 24th, the county announced that this education targets children who have weak immunity and are vulnerable to infectious diseases. It was prepared to foster healthy lifestyle habits early by teaching infectious disease prevention rules and proper methods of preventing infectious diseases. For teachers, education on how to respond to outbreaks of waterborne and foodborne infectious diseases such as food poisoning will be provided to strengthen infectious disease prevention capabilities.
Jeonnam Hampyeong-gun will conduct 'Visiting Infectious Disease Prevention Education' for children and teachers at local daycare centers until November this year.

The detailed education contents include ▲compliance with personal hygiene rules such as hand washing, cough etiquette, and avoiding tick bites ▲hand washing experience and drawing clean hands ▲importance of vaccination ▲and lessons on hand washing and cough etiquette songs.
In addition, to encourage timely vaccination according to the age of daycare children, notifications will be sent when the vaccination period arrives, and phone calls and text messages will be made to guardians of unvaccinated children. By managing vaccination status throughout the life cycle, infectious diseases will be proactively prevented.
Meanwhile, the visiting infectious disease prevention education was first conducted three times from the 21st to the 23rd for children aged 3 and above at Samae Daycare Center, Jagwang Daycare Center, and Hampyeong-gun Public Daycare Center. It is scheduled to be held three times a month until November.
