Her management company, WP Sportainment, announced on the 23rd, "Park Ji-young underwent appendectomy surgery on the 21st and will not participate in the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour E1 Charity Open (total prize money 900 million KRW) and the Sh Suhyup Bank MBN Ladies Open (total prize money 1 billion KRW) held in May."
