Muan-gun Successfully Completes 'Today Is the Best Day' Program for Centenarians
Healing Performance Led by Community Social Security Council
The Community Security Council of Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do visited the Baekse Senior Welfare Center to present a special event aimed at providing the elderly with a healthy and vibrant daily life.
According to the county on the 23rd, this special program was held under the name "Today is the Best Day."
Following the event on the 20th, this program was led mainly by the female division members of the Community Security Council, offering the elderly various traditional cultural performances.

Colorful performances such as traditional fairy tales, folk songs, janggu (Korean drum), spoon rhythm, and ocarina delighted the eyes and ears of the seniors. The elderly who watched the performances expressed their excitement, saying, "I feel joyful and happy, so today is truly the best day," and conveyed their hope that the performers would visit again.
This program, which started in March, plans to continue visiting elderly care facilities and day care centers within the county until November to operate the program.
County Governor Kim San expressed gratitude to the council members who have devotedly worked for the community and stated, "We will continue to do our best to support welfare blind spots and households in crisis."
Meanwhile, local residents are giving great applause to these ongoing efforts to preserve valuable culture in the community and provide a happy daily life for the elderly.
