[Featured Stock] SK Hynix, AI Semiconductor Still Advantageous... 52-Week High Upward
SK Hynix's stock price is on the rise. Industry evaluations that the company still holds an advantage in high-capacity DRAM modules for artificial intelligence (AI) servers appear to be influencing the stock price.
As of 9:57 a.m. on the 23rd, SK Hynix is trading at 200,500 won, up 1.42% from the previous day. During the session, it rose to 204,000 won, marking a 52-week high.
Minhee Lee, a researcher at BNK Investment & Securities, stated, "The production volume of competitors, whose entry into the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) 3E market has been delayed, is expected to be about half that of SK Hynix." She added, "The market share gap between the two companies will widen significantly this year, and the supply shortage situation will continue in the second half."

Lee also noted, "The current high price premium is expected to persist," emphasizing that "SK Hynix, which has monopolized high-capacity DRAM modules for AI servers, remains in a favorable position." She further analyzed, "With the continued high profitability of high-capacity DRAM and improved NAND performance due to increased demand for enterprise solid-state drives (eSSD), operating profit in the second quarter is expected to reach an all-time high." She added, "As the global AI server infrastructure investment cycle progresses, benefits as a key supplier to Nvidia will continue."
