NVIDIA Beats Q1 Earnings Expectations... 10-for-1 Stock Split

NVIDIA achieved a surprise quarterly performance that exceeded market expectations. It also decided to split its stock 10-for-1.
On the 22nd (local time), NVIDIA announced its first-quarter (February to April) results after the market closed, reporting revenue of $26.04 billion and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $6.12.
This surpassed market forecasts. Previously, market research firm LSEG had projected NVIDIA's revenue at $24.65 billion and adjusted EPS at $5.59.
NVIDIA expects second-quarter (May to July) revenue to reach $28 billion, exceeding LSEG's estimate of $26.61 billion.
NVIDIA also announced a 10-for-1 stock split.
