Hansujeong, 'Biodiversity Day' Native Plant Distribution Event
The Korea National Arboretum and Garden Management Agency (hereinafter referred to as KNA) announced on the 22nd that it held a "Native Plant Distribution" event at Daejeon Station Plaza to commemorate International Biodiversity Day.

View original imageThe event was attended by Ryu Gwang-su, Chairman of KNA, as well as representatives from the Korea Forest Service, Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), the Forest Love Youth Group, and more than 20 related organizations. A total of 2,000 native plants, including Coptis trifolia, Rhododendron mucronulatum, and Polygonum filiforme, were distributed free of charge to citizens.
In addition to the native plant distribution, the event also featured an exhibition of panels highlighting the importance of forest biodiversity and a mobile companion plant clinic experience program.
