Busan Branch of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Holds 'Safety Video' Contest for Foreign Workers
Busan Employment and Labor Office, Korea Asset Management Corporation, and Pusan National University Sign MOU to Promote Safety Culture
The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (headed by Gong Heungdoo) is launching a video contest project to promote a culture of safety among foreign workers.
On the 22nd, the Busan Regional Headquarters signed an MOU for the "Foreign Worker Safety Video Contest to Promote a Culture of Safety" at the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC) with the Busan Employment and Labor Office (headed by Kim Junhui), Korea Asset Management Corporation (Vice President Kim Seojung), and Pusan National University (Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Choi Kyungmin).
This video contest is open to all citizens and seeks submissions of basic safety rule videos, such as short-form content, that are easily accessible to workers. The contest will be announced in June, and after a review process, an awards ceremony will be held in September.

Gong Heungdoo, head of the Busan Regional Headquarters, stated, "Through this agreement, we hope to contribute to the prevention of accidents among foreign workers, who are one of the vulnerable groups in terms of safety," adding, "The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency will continue to cooperate with related organizations to lay the foundation for Korea to become a leading nation in safety and take the lead in creating a safer country."
