Dongshin University Signs Agreement with Yeonggwang High School for Local Creative Talent Development
Dongshin University and Yeonggwang High School signed a business agreement on the afternoon of the 21st at Seminar Room 1 of Dongshin University Central Library, agreeing to join forces to nurture creative talents.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will utilize Dongshin University's facilities, professional personnel, and educational programs to support Yeonggwang High School students' creative activities and career exploration.
Through mentor-mentee programs conducted both online and offline, as well as special lectures by experts in future promising industries, they plan to help students in the Yeonggwang area develop creative and convergent thinking skills.
Lee Joo-hee, president of Dongshin University, stated, "We plan to help young people grow freely through various curriculum-linked programs and experiential programs, and we will also spare no support for Yeonggwang High School as it develops after being selected as an autonomous public high school 2.0." She added, "Dongshin University, which has received preliminary designation as a glocal university, proposed the UCC model aiming to provide services necessary for local youth to settle in the region and for Jeonnam to develop into a livable area."
