CJ Olive Young announced on the 22nd that it is recruiting a group of influencers called 'Shutterbrity' who are active on Olive Young's mobile application (app) 'Shutter' until the 6th of next month.
Shutter is an App-in-App service launched by Olive Young in October 2023. It is a type of social networking service (SNS) where members communicate with each other through 'likes' and 'comments.' Any Olive Young membership member can use it. To promote the service, Olive Young has recruited and operated 'Shutterbrity,' who lead communication through voluntary content creation and sharing, twice before.
This time, up to 300 Shutterbrity members will be selected. Members who wish to apply can fill out an application form through the Olive Young mobile app during the event period and post at least one Shutter post. The announcement of the selected candidates will take place after June. The third term of Shutterbrity will be active for six months from July 1 to December 31.
Members selected as Shutterbrity will receive activity points every month that can be used at Olive Young stores and online malls. To help them grow into influential beauty influencers, regular education and lectures will be provided. Some outstanding Shutterbrity members will also have the opportunity to work as models in advertising campaigns operated by Olive Young. In fact, the models who participated in the advertisement and poster production for this Shutterbrity recruitment campaign were from the second term of Shutterbrity.
The competition rate for Shutterbrity applications is on the rise. The number of applicants for the second term of Shutterbrity recruitment more than doubled compared to the previous term. This is because some Shutterbrity members actively increased their followers by more than tenfold, forming a 'fandom' and gaining attention.
During this campaign period, Olive Young will hold various events to promote Shutterbrity activities. Targeting the core customer base of people in their 20s, a 'Campus Attack' event will be held by visiting universities directly. At three universities located in the metropolitan area (Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Sungkyunkwan University), a personal color measurement and diagnosis experience space will be set up during their festivals. A raffle event will also be held, giving away pearl ice cream and cosmetic samples that match each individual's unique skin tone.
