Chungnam Province Launches Top 10 Carbon Neutrality Action Campaign
Chungnam Province has launched the 'Carbon Neutrality Practice Movement Challenge.'
The province revealed 10 selected action items for daily carbon neutrality practice on the 20th. They plan to carry out a total of 8 tasks, one each month.
In May, the challenge is to 'walk or use a bicycle for short distances' to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
In June, the focus is on using reusable cups; in July, promoting paperless meetings; in August, practicing separate waste disposal for recycling; in September, using shopping bags. In October, the challenge is to use stairs instead of elevators; in November, reducing paper use when printing; and in December, regularly checking car tire pressure and wheels.
Along with these, they will also practice reducing digital carbon footprints (deleting unnecessary emails) and using personal handkerchiefs instead of paper towels or hand dryers.
