Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, had a tea conversation with Seungbeom, the head monk of Taegochongnim Sunam Temple, a World Heritage site of 'Sansa, Korean Mountain Monasteries,' on the 18th, and discussed systematic management plans for Buddhist cultural heritage.
Sunam Temple was registered as a World Heritage site in June 2018. It is one of Jeollanam-do's representative temples, preserved for over 1,500 years in harmony with nature, featuring some of Korea's oldest architectural structures and spaces where monks practice.
