6-Vehicle Pileup Near Jukjeon Rest Area on Gyeongbu Expressway... 8 Injured
At around 5 p.m. on the 17th, six vehicles, including 2 buses, 2 passenger cars, and 6 SUVs, collided one after another near the Jukjeon Rest Area on the Seoul-bound side of the Gyeongbu Expressway in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province.
As a result of the accident, one SUV driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Additionally, seven passengers, including three high school students riding the bus and occupants of the buses and SUVs, were injured and taken to the hospital, but their injuries are reported to be minor.
The injured high school students were on their way back from a school field trip, traveling by charter bus.
