KOSPI, Individual Investors Alone 'Buy'... Slight Weakness Around 2740 Level
The KOSPI is showing a slight decline around the 2740 level, with individual investors buying alone.
As of 9:35 a.m. on the 17th, the KOSPI recorded 2744.39, down 8.61 points (0.31%) from the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 91.8 billion KRW. On the other hand, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 42.2 billion KRW and 51.6 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, food and beverages are up 5.29%. Additionally, electric gas and textiles/apparel are rising within 1%. Conversely, most sectors except these two are declining.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics is trading at 78,100 KRW, down 100 KRW (0.13%) from the previous trading day. SK Hynix is down 0.10%. Celltrion is also down 1.50%. Meanwhile, LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, Hyundai Motor, and Kia are in a slightly positive range.
The KOSDAQ recorded 856.97, down 13.40 points (1.54%).
By investor type, foreigners are net sellers with 80.1 billion KRW. Conversely, individuals and institutions are net buyers with 44.9 billion KRW and 42.1 billion KRW, respectively.
By sector, food and tobacco are up 1.13%. However, pharmaceuticals are down 8.08%. Additionally, manufacturing and distribution sectors are down more than 2%.

Among the top market capitalization stocks, EcoPro BM traded at 218,000 KRW, up 2,000 KRW (0.93%) from the previous trading day. EcoPro is up 1.19%. Pearl Abyss rose 2.13%. On the other hand, HLB hit the lower limit. Enchem and HPSP are down more than 3%.
