Recruitment of Students for Gwangyang Youth Dream Center Program 'Kkumkit List'

Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Jeong Inhwa) announced that it will recruit students for the Gwangyang Youth Dream Center youth participation program, ‘Dream Kit List,’ starting from the 20th.
‘Dream Kit List’ is composed of experiential programs that are easy to participate in from the bucket lists of young people, providing a wide range of cultural experiences for youth. Six programs will be operated over two months from June to July.
The programs include ▲Dance Training ▲Vocal Training ▲Flower Art ▲Wood Carving (Woodcraft) ▲Character Lunchbox Making ▲Pet Snack Making.
Applications can only be made online through the Gwangyang Youth Dream Center website, and anyone aged between 18 and 45 who is a youth of Gwangyang City can participate.
The application period is from three weeks to three days before the start date of each program, and recruitment is on a first-come, first-served basis with up to 10 people per program. Each person can take up to two programs, and the tuition fee is free.
Kim Myeongdeok, Director of the Youth Job Division, said, “This Dream Kit List was organized based on the opinions of young people and consists of programs that youth want, so we encourage many applications.” He added, “We also ask for much interest and participation in other upcoming programs such as youth capacity-building special lectures, the Mind Care Counseling Center, and the second half Dream Class.”

Meanwhile, the Gwangyang Youth Dream Center operates free rental of creative rooms for study and meetings for youth, as well as the free youth suit rental project ‘Youth Touching Wings.’
