Gwangju Seo-gu Recruiting Participants for 'Myeongjang Success School' Until the 31st
Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) is driving the growth of young entrepreneurs in the food service industry through the transfer of know-how from Korea’s Master Craftsmen.
On the 16th, Seo-gu announced that it will introduce the ‘Master Success School,’ a 1:1 customized program to enhance the recipes of young entrepreneurs, together with Korea’s Master Craftsmen Ma Okcheon (Master in baking and pastry, CEO of Bebier) and Ahn Yoosung (Master in cooking, CEO of Gamaesushi), for the first time.
Seo-gu plans to directly visit food service businesses operated by young entrepreneurs along with the Masters to provide know-how support in recipes, hygiene management, marketing, and more.
The recruitment target is food service entrepreneurs aged 19 to 39 who have started their business within 7 years as of the announcement date. Seo-gu will select twice the number of candidates through the first document screening and then select the final 5 candidates each in the ▲cooking and ▲baking & pastry fields through the second on-site screening.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Youth Employment Support Division with the relevant documents or by email through the Seo-gu Office website by the 31st.
Mayor Kim Ikang of Seo-gu said, “Seo-gu, the only district in Honam with Korea’s Master Craftsmen, will realize the value of the Masters locally and support young entrepreneurs to grow together with the Masters, establishing themselves as another regional icon and creating an ‘Era of Successful Good Companies.’”
Meanwhile, Seo-gu will hold a ‘Master Special Lecture’ on the 27th at the Deulbul Hall of Seo-gu Office, where attendees can hear success stories of entrepreneurship directly from the Masters.
