Anseong-si Supports Out-of-Pocket Expenses for 'Maternal and Newborn Health Care Services'
Up to 90% of the Shortened and Standard Self-Payment Amounts
On the 16th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will support a portion of the out-of-pocket expenses for the 'Maternal and Newborn Health Care Service' to create a better environment for pregnancy and childbirth and to alleviate the financial burden on families with newborns.
The 'Maternal and Newborn Health Care Service' is a program where health care professionals visit families with newborns to assist with maternal recovery and newborn care.
Since 2022, Anseong City has been providing partial support for out-of-pocket expenses, in addition to government subsidies, based on factors such as fetal type, birth order, and service duration for families using this service.
The out-of-pocket expenses are supported based on the service period. For the shortened and standard plans, 90% of the paid amount can be reimbursed, and for the extended plan, support is provided similarly to the standard plan.
