Yangcheon-gu Activates Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters for Flood and Wind Damage Preparedness
Yangcheon-gu (District Mayor Lee Gi-jae) announced that on the afternoon of the 14th, it held the 'Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters Opening Ceremony' at the district office's Disaster Countermeasures Safety Situation Room and officially began operations ahead of the monsoon season.
The Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters will operate on a 24-hour emergency duty system for five months from May 15 to October 15, taking full charge of overall situation management, on-site recovery, traffic control, public communication, and administrative support in the event of disasters such as typhoons and heavy rain during the summer.
