Chosun University Signs Agreement with Gwangju City Sports Council for Professional Workforce Development
Chosun University has signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council (Chairman Jeon Gap-su) to promote regional development and foster professional talent.
The signing ceremony held at 11 a.m. on the 13th in the Cheongchul Auditorium of the Chosun University main building was attended by Chosun University President Kim Chun-seong, Director of External Cooperation Kim Hyun-woo, Deputy Director of External Cooperation Wi Seong-ok, Associate Dean of the College of Physical Education Jeong Jae-hwan, Director of Physical Education Lee Gye-haeng, as well as Gwangju Metropolitan City Sports Council Chairman Jeon Gap-su, Secretary General Kim Young-sam, Director of Sports Operations Headquarters Kang Pil-o, Director of Sports Promotion Headquarters Moon Bu-hong, and Director of Management Support Department Noh Chi-il. They agreed to establish a cooperative system aimed at creating a healthy local community and fostering professional talent.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ deriving and promoting collaborative projects under the Regional Innovation-centered University Support System (RISE) ▲ discovering various local issues and cooperating to create a healthy civil society ▲ cooperation in training and education for community sports instructors and professional sports instructors ▲ establishing an educational cooperation system with sports associations by discipline ▲ discovering and promoting linked cooperative programs between the two organizations.
Chosun University President Kim Chun-seong said, "Considering the potential in the fields of sports and culture from a long-term perspective, more support is needed," and added, "Let us find harmonious coexistence measures with local governments and build a cooperative system."
