Superintendent Lim attended the '43rd Teachers' Day Government Awards and Commendation Ceremony' held at the Southern Office on the same day and said, "Except for what should not be done, I will change it so that the rest can be done based on autonomy."
He emphasized, "Autonomy is freedom accompanied by responsibility," adding, "I believe education needs to guide that rights come with responsibilities."
He continued, "There may be differences in opinions about balance depending on perspectives, and it is perfectly fine to have discussions," explaining, "We can create a plan through thorough discussions with education family representatives."
In particular, he added, "There is plenty of room for revision through such processes," but also stated, "However, the purpose is that the educational community?including teachers, students, and parents, who are the parties on the ground?respect each other, and based on that, a culture where teachers are respected must be established for healthy education."
About 100 people, including Superintendent Lim, award recipients' families, and officials from the Provincial Office of Education, attended the ceremony to celebrate the honorable awards of educators.
